SCORE GREEN is an Erasmus+ co-funded project dedicated to advancing sports sustainability by reducing sports emissions and promoting climate action across the sports sector in South Eastern Europe.

Through an innovative digital approach, the project empowers sports organizations, professionals, and communities to adopt sustainable practices, reduce envirental impact, and contribute to European climate goals.

What We Do?

Objectives

Helping sports reduce emissions with practical, climate-smart solutions.

▪ Develop a comprehensive project coordination and management framework with allocated tasks, roles, responsibilities, workflow with quality benchmarks and monitoring procedures

▪ Establish clear and effective communication channels and reporting procedures

▪ Establish and apply financial monitoring frameworks for budget control

▪ Conduct a diagnostic study on the current environmental impact and responsibility of sports organizations in Southeastern Europe

▪ Develop a comprehensive Toolkit on Sport for Climate Action in Southeastern Europe

▪ Develop a specialized training program for sports professionals and organizations on climate action, carbon neutrality, sustainability and environmental responsibility

▪ Conduct Capacity Development Training of Green Sport Ambassadors

▪ Implement local climate actions, with Green Sport Ambassadors involved in more than 10 sports clubs per Ambassador

▪ Develop an outreach strategy and awareness campaign on climate action through sports

▪ Foster collaboration and develop strategic partnerships among sports organizations, local communities, and key stakeholders
